The use of map creation would be a wonderful tool when introducing US History, World History, Science Facts, or just introducing yourself, your travels, likes and dislikes to your students. What an outstanding way to incorporate numerous subject areas in one map.
Fact: Penguins are my favorite animal. Ever since elementary school when I accidentally spelled Penguin rather than Pigeon and my teacher made me look up the difference between the two birds, I have been fascinated with penguins. I was fortunate enough to meet many penguins behind the scenes at the Indianapolis Zoo while I was in college at Purdue with a friend who worked at the zoo. My heart melted the first time I touched a penguin! I can never tell you how LOUD these creatures are in person but how adorable, loveable, and truly bonding they are to your heart! One day I will, once again, touch and love on a penguin. To learn more about these fascinating creatures, please check out the information below in my map.
